My Story…

Kary talked us into this. We subbed in Kevin for a travelling Neive - but come May 16, we'll all be walking/running/puffing our way around the Blue Nose Purple Cow 5k as the 1790 West Farm Team - to raise money for Craft Nova Scotia. As a non-profit charitable organization, Craft Nova Scotia champions the creativity, resilience, and entrepreneurial spirit of Nova Scotia’s craft community, supporting local makers through advocacy, professional development, exhibitions, and market access—while fostering public appreciation for the skill, heritage, and innovation embedded in handcrafted work.

Description

Craft Nova Scotia is a non-profit, charitable service organization that works to encourage and promote both the craft movement in Nova Scotia and the public awareness and appreciation of craft products and activities.
