My Story…
I’m proud to be running the Bluenose Marathon 10K in support of the Epilepsy Association of the Maritimes. Epilepsy has been part of my life since childhood. Living with epilepsy means managing medication, side effects, sleep routines, and the uncertainty that seizures can bring. It’s not always visible to others, but it affects many parts of daily life. Organizations like the Epilepsy Association of the Maritimes play a crucial role in supporting people living with epilepsy and their families across our region. They provide education, advocacy, and resources that help people feel less alone while navigating this condition. I’m also proud to volunteer with the Epilepsy Association of the Maritimes as a member of the Fundraising Committee. Through my involvement, I’ve seen firsthand how important community support and funding are for maintaining these programs and services. Running the Bluenose 10K is my way of raising awareness, celebrating resilience.
