Help Emily raise money

This year, I'm running to raise money for the IWK! 

Let me tell you why. 

As some of our friends and family know, Soph and I have been going through IVF (and other fertility treatments) for the past 2 years. As part of those treatments, I have become quite familiar with the gynecology department at the IWK. 

They have seen me through heartbreak, and weird invasive procedures, and they will see me through more undoubtedly. The level of care and love that I have received in the women's department of the IWK has been unmatched. 

I also began working for the IWK Foundation in December of 2025. As a former hospital-adjacent child (thank you complex diabetes, you absolute legend!) I know how important hospital care is - especially for children. 

Good care is the difference between doing your meds and "forgetting." 

Good care is a nurse who knows you like peppermint tea, but not chamomile. 

Good care is the difference being ready to tackle health challenges and manage chronic conditions as an adult makes. 

Good care saved my life.
