Help Rhiannon raise money

Hi there,

My name is Rhiannon and I'll be running the Half Marathon in the Bluenose and fundraising in support of the Tim Hortons Foundation Camps.

This cause means a lot to me because I truly believe that camp experiences shape a person’s life. Growing up, I was lucky enough to attend camps that gave me confidence, friendships, and a sense of belonging. Those experiences have helped me grow into the person I am today, and they taught me resilience, leadership, and how powerful it is to be surrounded by support.

Over the past year, that message has meant even more to me. Following a foot injury, I had to step away from my sports and a lifestyle that has always been a huge part of who I am. Recovery was hard, and it reminded me how much we rely on encouragement, community, and opportunities that help us keep going when things get tough.

That’s why I’m so proud to be fundraising for Tim Hortons Foundation Camps. Tims Camps gives youth from underserved communities the chance to build confidence, independence, and resilience through life-changing camp experiences, at no cost to them or their families. Every kid deserves the chance to grow, feel supported, and discover what they’re capable of.

Training for this half marathon has become more than just a goal for me. It’s my way of proving to myself how far I’ve come, and it’s also a way to give back and help create those same opportunities for other youth.

I’ve set a fundraising goal of $150, but would love to go further than this! And I would be so grateful for any support. Every donation, no matter the amount, makes a real difference.
