The Halifax office is the only Atlantic Canadian affiliate to date and has served more than 2000 clients since opening 25 years ago.  Dress for Success Halifax offers a variety of services designed to help clients find jobs and remain employed.  Each Dress for Success client receives a complete interview outfit from head to toe, including purse, jewelry, overcoat, footwear, etc. and may return for a complete employment outfit or separates when she becomes employed.  On-going mentoring and support is provided free of charge on a monthly basis to clients who choose to join the Women's Working Group.  Dress for Success serves 100% of clients referred by the various 50+ referral agencies in HRM, however; they also serve ANY client who is referred from any of the other three Atlantic provinces.  Our clients come to us from a continually expanding and diverse group of non-profit and government agencies including homeless shelters, immigration services, job training programs, educational institutions and domestic violence shelters, among many other organizations.  These various organizations refer women to Dress for Success to receive professional apparel, career development services and confidence coaching on a weekly basis.
