My Story…

On May 4, 2024, we lost Ann Robinson, a remarkable woman who faced tremendous challenges following a brain aneurysm in 2009 that left her paralyzed for life. Each day, she bravely confronted both mental and physical health issues with incredible courage. To honour her strength and keep her memory alive, my friends, family, and I are getting together to run the Toronto 5K in her name. This annual event is not just a race; it serves as a tribute to Ann and a pledge to promote mental health awareness. Every year, we continue to run in her honour during Toronto Marathon Race Weekend, raising funds for the Canadian Mental Health Association, Toronto, to assist others undergoing similar challenges.
