With one in two Albertans being diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime and one in five not surviving, we often hear, “How can I help?” The answer is simple: Join the Alberta Cancer Foundation’s More Hope Movement through the Servus Calgary Marathon!

The Alberta Cancer Foundation is the official fundraising partner for all 17 Alberta Health Services cancer centres across the province, including the new Arthur J.E. Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre that opened October 2024, the largest comprehensive cancer centre in Canada. 

What sets us apart? We focus on investing in projects that reduce cancer risk, detect cancer earlier, treat the disease more effectively and improve the quality of life of patients facing cancer across Alberta. Funds raised through this year's Servus Calgary Marathon Charity Challenge will help create more moments for Albertans facing cancer.
