The War Amps

The War Amps is committed to improving the quality of life for Canadian amputees. Since its founding in 1918, The War Amps has grown from assisting war amputees – whom we still serve – to all amputees, including adults and children. Your donations fund our essential programs for amputees, including the Child Amputee (CHAMP) Program. Through CHAMP, child amputees receive financial assistance for the artificial limbs they need for everyday life, advocacy support and valuable peer connections with a community that knows what it's like to live with an amputation.

Funds raised through the Servus Calgary Marathon Charity Challenge will help make a meaningful difference in the lives of amputees in Alberta and across Canada.
