Ukrainian Women Advancement Association

The Ukrainian Women Advancement Association (UWAA) is a registered charity dedicated to empowering Ukrainian evacuee women and their children. Through its flagship Mentorship Program, UWAA pairs newcomer women with local volunteers to support English language practice, pre-employment skills, cultural integration, and community connection. Predominantly volunteer-run, UWAA also provides supplementary resources for children, access to community events, and opportunities that foster confidence, resilience, and belonging. UWAA remains committed to helping Ukrainian women build stability, independence, and brighter futures in Canada.
