Raise money for Pacific Assistance Dogs Society (PADS)
PADS partners individuals with disabilities, Veterans and first responders, and community care professionals with certified assistance dogs.
Specialized programs serve diverse needs across Western Canada:
Hearing Dogs alert Deaf and hard-of-hearing clients to critical sounds, including alarms, doorbells, and even a baby’s cry or their name being called;
Mobility Service Dogs enhance independence and community access for clients with physical disabilities, including multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, and spinal cord injuries, by performing essential tasks such as opening doors, retrieving dropped items, and providing mobility support.
PTSD Service Dogs support Veterans and first responders living with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. They promote emotional stability and reintegration into daily life with grounding and calming interventions.
Accredited Facility Dogs work alongside community professionals in justice, victim services, education and healthcare. These dogs, support children with special needs, aid in trauma recovery, and create a sense of safety during moments of crisis.
VIP (Very Important Pet) Dogs bring companionship and joy to individuals with physical or developmental disabilities, enriching quality of life through the human-animal bond.
For 38 years, PADS has championed independence and built inclusive communities where people of all abilities can thrive.
