For more than four decades, Radiance Family Society (formerly Sonshine Community Services) has been a steadfast partner on the journey towards healing for women and children affected by domestic violence. Through a comprehensive array of residential and outreach programs, we provide a safe haven where individuals can rebuild their lives and mend their spirits.  

Radiance is a pet-friendly second-stage shelter that lets families stay longer to build a stronger future, ensuring survivors never have to return to abuse.

• $50 funds a child's friendship group or activity workshop.
• $100 provides trauma-focused counselling.
• $250 equips our shelter with essential tools for families to thrive.
• $500 provides a complete Move-In Kit (linens and kitchenware). Families take these items with them when they leave and transition back into the community, ensuring their new life begins with dignity.
