My Story…
Hello!
My name is Alex and this will be my first marathon!
I joined this race originally as a personal challenge to myself. Then, I saw I could donate to Ovarian Cancer Canada. That made this really hit home.
My mother, Cora Torreson, left us far too soon from ovarian cancer. She never saw 41. As I approach my 40th birthday, I see this as a great way to honour her memory while supporting cancer research
Anything you can donate most certainly helps and is greatly appreciated:)
Thanks for your time and hope to see you out here!
Description
Ovarian Cancer Canada is here to demand action, deliver change, and transform the lives of those experiencing, affected by, or at risk of the disease.
By supporting Ovarian Cancer Canada, you are supporting the only national charity dedicated to overcoming ovarian cancer by providing leadership in research, advocacy, and support. We will not rest until women are able to live their lives freely, fully, and uninhibited by ovarian cancer.
