Help Miranda raise money

This May, I’m running another half marathon in Calgary in support of pediatric cancer research. I joined the Strong like Sloane Run Team where all donations will support the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation and its partnership with the University of Calgary to advance precision oncology research for pediatric cancer.

This fundraiser is especially personal to me because I lost my mom to ovarian cancer. While her story is different, cancer has left a permanent mark on my life and my family. This year, I choose to raise awareness for childhood cancer as I have a connection to Sloane who has now faced the challenges of pediatric cancer, remission and relapse. I know how deeply cancer affects everyone it touches.

I’m running in honour of my mom, for Sloane and for the children and families who are/have faced the unimaginable. Thank you for helping me turn loss into purpose and support research that brings hope 💛💛💛
