My Story…
I met Claire a couple of years ago when I signed up to run for the Strong Like Sloane team. The reason her story resonated so deeply with me was because Sloane is my daughter Monroe’s age. I couldn’t imagine the magnitude of turmoil, emotionally, physically and mentally, of getting a cancer diagnosis and going through treatment as both a child and a parent. Claire has educated so many on the lack of funding and resources for pediatric cancer research… so, if I can help even in the slightest bit by running/walking/jogging 21km, it is a privilege to do so. 💛
