My Story…
I’ve signed up to run the Cherry Blossom 10 Miler in Washington, DC... which means I’ll be voluntarily running ten whole miles surrounded by beautiful scenery, cheering crowds and my own questionable life choices.
But I’m not just doing this for the bragging rights (okay, maybe a little). I’m running to raise $500 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, which support kids and families when they need it most and during some of the hardest, scariest moments of their lives.
Every dollar donated helps fund critical care, life-saving treatments, and medical research for children who deserve every possible miracle. Your donation turns my sore legs, long treadmill stays (curse the snow gods!), and inevitable “why did I sign up for this?” moments into something that actually matters.
If you donate:
- You’ll help kids get the care they need
- I’ll run farther than I normally would by choice (also helps me train for my half-marathon in Maui a couple weeks later!!)
- You’ll feel morally superior knowing you supported a good cause without breaking a sweat

I'm fundraising $500 for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals to run the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Run, and need your support!
Children's Miracle Network Hospitals raises funds for 170 children’s hospitals that support the health of 12 million kids each year across the U.S. and Canada. Donations go to local hospitals to fund critical life-saving treatments and healthcare services, along with innovative research, vital pediatric medical equipment, child life services that put kids’ and families’ minds at ease during difficult hospital stays and financial assistance for families who could not otherwise afford these health services. When we improve the health of all children and allow them the opportunity to reach their full potential, we also improve our communities for years to come.
