My Story…
I’m taking part in the Bumrun Walk for Colon Cancer because this cause is deeply personal to me. Colon cancer is no longer something that only affects older adults — in recent years, doctors have been seeing more cases in people under 50, and many young adults are being diagnosed at later stages because symptoms are often missed or overlooked. I lost my friend at just 32 years old, and that loss changed the way I see this disease. I’m walking in their memory — Paige’s ‘s memory, and for everyone who is fighting, who has survived, and who we’ve heartbreakingly lost too soon. Supporting this walk means supporting research, awareness, early detection, and care for families who never expected to face this. Your donation — no matter the size — truly means so much to me. It helps fund education, screening initiatives, and advocacy so that more people can catch signs earlier and get the help they need.
Donate to help Samantha raise money for Bumrun Toronto 2026’s fundraising campaign.
