Our story…
This year, we run for Bob!
In October 2024, we lost my dad, Bohdan “Bob” Lypka, to colorectal cancer—a loss that changed our family forever. He was steady, humble, hardworking, and full of quiet love…the kind of man who showed up for everyone without ever asking for anything in return.
On race day, we show up for him.
We’re joining the Bum Run to honour his life, raise awareness, and support early detection so more families can be spared this heartbreak. Every step we take is for the dads, moms, partners, friends, and loved ones fighting this disease—and for the ones we carry in our hearts.
