I'm running for Colon Cancer Awareness...

I never thought that my mother would be diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer, but that all changed in 2022. Only 48 years old at the time of diagnosis, the impact it made on my family was immense. Countless days spent researching and understanding the pathology of her mutation, available treatments, consultations, etc. Treatment after treatment-- years went by, and at 51 years old, she's still here-- strong and unwavering in her fight. Without the amazing advocates and support at CCRAN, it would have been difficult to get to where we are now.

And that's how I want to give back...
