I’ve been living with stage 4 colorectal cancer that has spread to my lungs and bones for over 5 years. I was told I wouldn’t live this long, but I did because my husband and I advocated for proper treatment.

Now I’m in a difficult situation. The cancer that remains is in my spine, and for many reasons it can’t currently be removed. It’s causing severe pain and could eventually lead to paralysis. Right now, I’m taking things day by day, as chemotherapy has been very difficult for my body to tolerate after everything I’ve been through.
