As an animal lover and advocate, I’m excited to volunteer with the SPCA of Texas to support their mission. Founded in 1938, the SPCA of Texas is the most comprehensive and longest-serving animal welfare agency in North Texas. We’re local, independent, and committed to the animals in our care and in our community.
I’m asking for your help—if you have a heart for animals, please donate to my Strut Your Mutt fundraiser today and support the SPCA of Texas' Anti Cruelty Investigation Unit.
Our ACI Unit serves the North Texas community by investigating thousands of reports of animal cruelty each year, including abuse, neglect, hoarding, commercial breeding, animal fighting, and more. We work hand-in-hand with local law enforcement and animal control agencies, assisting with the rescues and care of animals that suffer from cruelty or neglect.
Your contribution is appreciated and will make a difference in the ability to respond to abuse and neglect concerns. Our efficiency is highly regarded, with 0.83 of every dollar going directly to assist the animals in our care.
