My Story...
I may be older and my marathon days behind me, but I can always clock a few miles in a 5K for a good cause! My children, grandchildren and I will be running during the Twin Cities Marathon Weekend (October 3-4) as part of Team Tanzania Life Project. Our goal is to raise money to support the mission of making sustainable clean water accessible to remote villages in Tanzania. Will you support this old man and this worthy cause?
I’ve worked with TLP for over 20 years and have seen firsthand the challenges families face without access to clean water and hygiene education. By providing sustainable water systems and education, TLP transforms lives for generations.
Please join us in helping to save lives and bring hope for a better tomorrow.
Description
I'm a member of the Tanzania Life Project team and running (and/or walking) a race as part of the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend to help bring clean water access to communities in Tanzania.
Access to clean water changes everything—health, education, and opportunity for children and families. Together through Tanzania Life Project, we’re helping make that possible.
Every mile we run and every dollar raised goes toward sustainable clean water solutions, hygiene education, and human rights governance that empowers women and girls to overcome societal barriers that limit their opportunities. That's creating lasting impact!
Join our team or donate to support a runner and be part of something bigger than the race.
