My Story...
Hi, I'm Jacob, the proud father of fellow-runner Loey Vanderheyden. We're running to help support TLP's mission to supply clean water to rural villages in Tanzania. Water is essential to life, and TLP is driven to improve the lives for so many in need. Their operations are sophisticated, thorough, sustainable, and proven. They've helped thousands of families gain access to clean, life sustaining water. Both Loey and I would be honored if you would help us in this mission to raise money for TLP to help those in need in Tanzania.
Description
I'm a member of the Tanzania Life Project team and running (and/or walking) a race as part of the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend to help bring clean water access to communities in Tanzania.
Access to clean water changes everything—health, education, and opportunity for children and families. Together through Tanzania Life Project, we’re helping make that possible.
Every mile we run and every dollar raised goes toward sustainable clean water solutions, hygiene education, and human rights governance that empowers women and girls to overcome societal barriers that limit their opportunities. That's creating lasting impact!
Join our team or donate to support a runner and be part of something bigger than the race.
