My Story…
I have always loved the outdoors and I am very passionate about saving the Boundary Waters! The ecological significance and intrinsic value is irreplaceable, and preserving it is worth fighting for.
I recently graduated Minnesota State University, Mankato and ran Cross Country and Track and Field. My experience as a student-athlete gave me a stronger appreciation for our natural spaces. My majors, Environmental Science and Political Science gave me insight on conservation practices and the importance of advocacy for environmental issues.
This marathon gives me the opportunity to support a cause that means so much to the Minnesota Community. I am not only running to challenge myself, but to raise awareness and support efforts to protect the Boundary Waters for current and future generations :)
