My Story...
I’m running the Twin Cities 10 Mile for Tanzania Life Project because this organization and the people it serves hold a very special place in my heart. My grandfather started Tanzania Life Project with a mission to create lasting change for communities in Tanzania by building wells in remote villages to provide clean water. I’ve been blessed to see the impact of that work continue over the years. Our family has supported the organization for many years, and it means so much to see the next generation, including our own children, experience and become part of that mission. Running these 10 miles is a small way for me to honor my grandfather’s legacy, raise awareness and funds to help Tanzania Life Project continue changing lives for generations to come.
Description
I'm a member of the Tanzania Life Project team and running (and/or walking) a race as part of the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend to help bring clean water access to communities in Tanzania.
Access to clean water changes everything—health, education, and opportunity for children and families. Together through Tanzania Life Project, we’re helping make that possible.
Every mile we run and every dollar raised goes toward sustainable clean water solutions, hygiene education, and human rights governance that empowers women and girls to overcome societal barriers that limit their opportunities. That's creating lasting impact!
Join our team or donate to support a runner and be part of something bigger than the race.
