As a K–5 special education teacher, I believe education is about so much more than academics. My goal is to help create confident, well-rounded humans by meeting students where they are, celebrating their strengths, and helping them grow in ways that matter both inside and outside the classroom.

That is why I’m proud to be running the Medtronic Half Marathon. On behalf of my students, I’m showing through action that we aim for “progress, not perfection”. I hope my run demonstrates the power of hard work, resilience and trying your best.
