My Story…
I’m the mom of three amazing kids. While all three of my children were born full-term and healthy and never needed donor milk themselves, many families aren’t as fortunate. Premature and medically fragile babies often depend on donor milk for a healthy start, and Minnesota Milk Bank for Babies helps make that possible.
I was fortunate to have an oversupply of breast milk with all three of my children. Because of that, I was able to donate breast milk each time to Minnesota Milk Bank for Babies. With my last child, I donated more than 3,000 ounces of breast milk to the Minnesota Milk Bank for Babies. It has been one of the most meaningful ways I've been able to support other families, and now I’d like to continue supporting their mission in a different way.
I’ll be running alongside my twin sister, Kristina Burrack, while my husband, Alec Niedermaier, tackles the half marathon. My fundraising goal is $250, but even more important than reaching that number is helping spread awareness of the life-saving work Minnesota Milk Bank for Babies does every day.
