My Story...
I learned about the work of Tanzania Life Project through my friend, A.J. Hearing about this project really resonated with me because I believe clean water should be accessible to everyone and should be a human right for all. Growing up, my dad taught me through words and actions that we are all the same and should help others if you have the ability. With having the opportunity to help those in need and accomplishing one of my goals in life, it will be an honor to run this marathon for Tanzania Life Project!
Description
I'm a member of the Tanzania Life Project team and running (and/or walking) a race as part of the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend to help bring clean water access to communities in Tanzania.
Access to clean water changes everything—health, education, and opportunity for children and families. Together through Tanzania Life Project, we’re helping make that possible.
Every mile we run and every dollar raised goes toward sustainable clean water solutions, hygiene education, and human rights governance that empowers women and girls to overcome societal barriers that limit their opportunities. That's creating lasting impact!
Join our team or donate to support a runner and be part of something bigger than the race.
