My Story…
I've been exploring the Boundary Waters every year since moving to Minnesota (and don't see myself stopping any time soon). This is the sixth most critical region in the lower 48 to protect for climate resiliency and contains 20% of all the freshwater in the entire National Forest System. This summer the BWCA closed for most of July due to forest fires which heavily reduced canoe permit use.
In an effort to continue raising awareness and funding to support keeping this wilderness beautiful and pristine, I will be running the 2026 TC 10-Mile in support of "Save the Boundary Waters".
