Help Adam raise money

This October, I’ll be running the Twin Cities Marathon, and I’m dedicating my race to a place that has meant the world to me since I was 12 years old.

The Boundary Waters is where I learned to appreciate the outdoors, disconnect from everything else, and experience a kind of peace that is hard to put into words. Some of my favorite memories of growing up are tied to paddling those lakes, camping under the stars, and waking up to the sound of nothing but nature. It is one of the most special places in Minnesota, and I can’t imagine a future where those experiences aren’t possible.

Right now, the Boundary Waters is facing renewed threats from proposed oil and mineral development near this incredible wilderness. Protecting this place has never felt more important. Once a wilderness like this is damaged, we can’t simply rebuild it. We have one chance to preserve it for the generations that come after us.

My goal is to raise $500 to support the work of Save the Boundary Waters. If you’ve ever experienced the Boundary Waters, dreamed of going, or simply believe that places like this deserve to exist long after we’re gone, I’d be honored if you would consider making a donation.
