My Story…
For the second straight year, I am running the Twin City 10 Mile for my friends at Cancer Legal Care. As many of you know, my wife is a cancer survivor. During treatment, we experienced firsthand how overwhelming insurance issues and medical billing can become while simply trying to focus on getting healthy. That experience is one of the reasons I volunteer with Cancer Legal Care and why this organization matters so much to me. Cancer Legal Care is a nonprofit law firm that provides free legal advice and representation to Minnesotans affected by cancer, helping with insurance disputes, employment issues, estate planning, Social Security benefits, and other legal challenges that can accompany a cancer diagnosis.

Cancer Legal Care is a nonprofit law firm that works to resolve the complex challenges facing Minnesotans affected by cancer. We do this by providing free legal care services to cancer patients and their families to help them plan for the future, stay in their homes, manage employment transitions, and mitigate the financial toxicity that so often comes with a cancer diagnosis.
Our staff and volunteer attorneys cut through the noise and the stress of a cancer diagnosis so that patients can focus on getting better.
