My Story...
I’m running for Tanzania Life Project because I believe access to clean water is more important than anything else. It’s a basic necessity that gives people the opportunity to live healthier, safer, and more comfortable lives where they can dream and have a more fulfilling life.
I’m especially inspired by the impact clean water has on women and girls. It allows them to spend more time in school, pursue opportunities, and build better futures for themselves and their communities. I’m so happy to support an organization working toward sustainable change and grateful to be able to play a small part in that mission.
Description
I'm a member of the Tanzania Life Project team and running (and/or walking) a race as part of the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend to help bring clean water access to communities in Tanzania.
Access to clean water changes everything—health, education, and opportunity for children and families. Together through Tanzania Life Project, we’re helping make that possible.
Every mile we run and every dollar raised goes toward sustainable clean water solutions, hygiene education, and human rights governance that empowers women and girls to overcome societal barriers that limit their opportunities. That's creating lasting impact!
