My Story…
Hello!
I will be running the Twin Cities Half Marathon this October and am running for the Hydrocephalus Association! In my current role as an MRI technician for the Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain, I work on projects that scan infants with hydrocephalus. This is why running for this organization is an exciting opportunity for me!
My goal is to raise $750 for the Hydrocephalus Association. This donation would help to raise awareness and provide vital support, including funding research and treatment, for those affected by hydrocephalus. Any contribution would be appreciated!
Thank you :)
Jess
Description
The Hydrocephalus Association (HA) stands at the forefront of research, advocacy, and support for the more than one million Americans living with hydrocephalus. Our mission is clear: better treatments and, ultimately, a cure. But recent cutbacks in medical research funding threaten the progress we have worked so hard to achieve. Without strong private funding to bridge this gap, promising studies may stall, innovative ideas may never reach the laboratory, and hope may fade.
That’s why your support matters now more than ever. Every mile we run—and every dollar you give—helps sustain cutting-edge research, fuel clinical trials, and ensure families affected by hydrocephalus know they are not alone. Together, we can keep momentum alive and drive discoveries that change lives.
We hope you’ll join us by supporting the HA Endurance Team in the 2026 Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon weekend.
Your gift—no matter the size—makes a lasting impact.
