My Story...
I’m excited to run the Tanzania Life 5K with my friend, who is the one who introduced me to this opportunity. As a 17-year-old junior in high school, I love staying active and moving my body, so I’m excited to combine something I enjoy with the chance to make a difference. I also really enjoy helping and connecting with others, and I’m looking forward to giving back through this experience. Participating in the 5K is a great way for me to contribute to a meaningful cause while also gaining volunteer experience that I can include in my National Honor Society involvement.
Description
I'm a member of the Tanzania Life Project team and running (and/or walking) a race as part of the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend to help bring clean water access to communities in Tanzania.
Access to clean water changes everything—health, education, and opportunity for children and families. Together through Tanzania Life Project, we’re helping make that possible.
Every mile we run and every dollar raised goes toward sustainable clean water solutions, hygiene education, and human rights governance that empowers women and girls to overcome societal barriers that limit their opportunities. That's creating lasting impact!
Join our team or donate to support a runner and be part of something bigger than the race.
