My Story…
This will be my third year running the 10 mile and fundraising for the YMCA Adventure team! These funds have directly contributed to additional training and enrichment for many on the Y adventure team. I was able to take additional organizational risk management training this spring, and will be heading to the Wilderness Risk Management Conference this fall with help from these funds. With Widjiwagan (and many Y camps) impacted by significant wildfires in Northern Minnesota, the training I received through the TC 10 mile funds directly benefitted Widjiwagan's groups in the Boundary Waters and Quetico, as well as our staff and participants onsite. I am thankful for the ability to represent Y Adventure and run again to benefit the folks I work with!
