My Story...
I am running the race for TLP because I think it is really important for everyone to have clean water. People should not have to walk for hours just to get muddy water.
I am also running because TLP is a very helpful organization that is making a big impact on people’s lives. TLP helps people who used to have muddy water now have clean water.
I am also running because I want more people to see what TLP is doing. They can join in and help raise money for TLP. They can also learn about what TLP does and start a business that raises money for a different organization or helps the people of Tanzania get the things they need.
Description
I'm a member of the Tanzania Life Project team and running (and/or walking) a race as part of the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend to help bring clean water access to communities in Tanzania.
Access to clean water changes everything—health, education, and opportunity for children and families. Together through Tanzania Life Project, we’re helping make that possible.
Every mile we run and every dollar raised goes toward sustainable clean water solutions, hygiene education, and human rights governance that empowers women and girls to overcome societal barriers that limit their opportunities. That's creating lasting impact!
Join our team or donate to support a runner and be part of something bigger than the race.
