Our story…
What We Do
Face to Face opened in 1972 as a volunteer-run drop-in center for youth with crisis counseling and reproductive health clinic. In 1994, at the request of the State of Minnesota and Ramsey County, we opened SafeZone, our drop-in day shelter for youth experiencing homelessness. Today we continue to support youth ages 11-24 through six core service areas:
1) Medical
2) Mental Health
3) Day Shelter
4) Housing
5) Education and Employment
6) Youth Justice
Prenatal Care
We operate a Prenatal Care Program within the medical services that we provide. Through this program, pregnant youth receive trauma informed care throughout the duration of their pregnancy.
When youth start prenatal care at Face to Face, they are immediately connected with a medical team, doula, and case manager who provide support for the youth and baby up until the baby’s first birthday — all at one location.
Donate today and make a lasting impact on the lives of youth in our community!
