5K Run Walk Location KEW Gardens

Where: Kew Gardens next to Beaches Running Room.

The premise of this 5K fun run is to have everyone finish at or near sunset in Toronto at 9:01pm. So, you get to pick your start time wave to finish at sunset.
Wave start: Starts with a countdown clock, participants choose their start time (no chip timing)
60 mins prior to sunset - @ 8:01 P.M. (Sunset @ approx. 9:01 P.M.)
50 mins prior to sunset
40 mins prior to sunset
35 mins prior to sunset
30 mins prior to sunset
25 mins prior to sunset
Route start at Kew Gardens just a few meters from the Beaches Running Room (store will be open for washroom use and if you need to drop off any baggage) and will head down to the Beaches Boardwalk. Turn left and head east to the end of the boardwalk at Silver Birch Ave. Turn around and head west to the Woodbine Bathing Station Building for your next turn around (if you see the volleyball courts, you have gone too far). Head back to the start to finish (look for the route back to Kew Gardens between the Tennis Courts and the Ice Rink.
