My Story…
On WisconSWIM!
I'm fundraising to support swimming 🏊♀️ - a life sport that helped me through tough times - and Bayfield Recreation and Fitness Resources who hosts the Point to La Pointe 2.1- mile swim from Bayfield to Madeline Island - my first competitive openwater swim in 2013.
It was a game-changer, and the first year in my life I had ever donned a swim cap and goggles. Swimming has changed my life, saved me from a double-disk back fusion, and grown new friendships. Bonus: I joined 3 other WisconSWIM Mermaids to be the first relay team from the state to cross the English Channel in 2024. Your donation can help change more lives for the better!
Bayfield Recreation and Fitness Resources also offers unique opportunities like youth sailing lessons in which my kiddos participated. The organization's positive impact extends far beyond the tiny Lake Superior city of Bayfield, population 600, so all donations matter.
