My Story…
From the Heart Swim Adventure!
Thank you so much for logging in to my fundraising site & for your interest in supporting me in this beautiful, historic, open-water swim event! Swimming in open-water transports me to a very special, magical place…especially in Lake Superior! Even though I’m afraid of fish👀…that fear propels me to not stop and reach the other side!
My open-water swimming was put on hold in 2025 due to an unforeseen cardiac event and subsequent rehab. Realizing head-on that we are not guaranteed a tomorrow, I’ve set new goals for 2026; the biggest one being that I am officially registered for my 2nd Point-to-LaPointe Lake Superior 2.1mi swim! This goal motivates me to train weekly and build my endurance in preparation for the August event. I am deeply grateful for having you in my life and for your support! So much effort goes into the planning and success of this nationally renowned event.
