My Story…
As a swimmer with a love-fear relationship with the water (thanks to watching Jaws at a young, impressionable age), I am thrilled to participate in my first open water swim race. The Lake is medicine and with my daily dose, I've learned to accept my fears, push my boundaries, and appreciate the beauty of the aquatic world (imaginary fish friends and all). By joining this fundraiser for the Bayfield Rec Center, I am excited to support this space which fosters personal growth and well-being in our community.
