My Story…
As a child, I was fortunate to have access to swim lessons and water safety classes, however, having two sisters as instructors meant living up to high expectations, and, unfortunately, I just couldn’t keep my feet from sinking during a back float. Despite my accomplishments in the pool since, I still have some unfinished business.
Now, there’s a chance for redemption: if I can swim 2.1 miles across Lake Superior, my sister Cady has agreed to grant me an honorary degree in Level 6 Swim Lessons!
Support our open water swim from Bayfield, WI to Madeline Island! I am so excited to join my sister for this year’s swim (she swam it last year). Fundraising helps guarantee our spot for 2026 and supports programs for youth, adults, families, and seniors to swim, sail, and be safe around water in the Bayfield area.
