My Story…
Greetings from the icy waters of Lake Superior! I am fundraising for Recreation and Fitness Resources in Bayfield, WI. I have been swimming recreationally and competitively since I was an infant. Swimming has given me confidence; it is truly a gift to approach a body of water, understand its movement, and be able to be a part of it without fear. This sport has also helped me build lasting and deep friendships, I am still friends with swim team buds today (hey Melissa and Elika!).
I am raising money for this organization to give kids in Bayfield, WI and surrounding communities the chance to swim and recreate safely on the beautiful lake they live on.
As a thank you for your donation, I will be mailing (or hand-delivering) you a free gift! If you donate $25 to my fundraiser I will send you a handmade mitten ornament. If you donate $50 to my fundraiser you can commission a customized mitten ornament of your own with the 4-letter word of your choice knit on it! (Some five-letter words do work, please contact me and we'll chat).
