My Story…
I've been swimming most of my life. Done multiple OWS in the Great Lakes Trying to get one sanctioned OWS in each of the 5 Great L akes . This event will get my #3. I've done Lake Michigan (Big Shoulders) and Lake Huron (Mackinac Island Swim). Swimming and aquatic exercise are wonderful life long sports. Aquatic activities are open to people who may have severe difficulty or be unable to do land based exercise. Swimming has been an anchor for me both in terms of physical and mental health. I hope to continue for many years and perhaps make some international trips for other OWS.
