My Story…
March 26 marks the five year passing of my mother Kathy. While I won't be able to participate in the BumRun Vancouver this year, I am fundraising throughout Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month in March as part of the Virtual Bum Run.
In the two previous years we were able to raise more than $3k and more than $4k respectively. This year, the goal is to exceed $5k in remembrance of the five year anniversary of mom's death. But I know that's a really big ask, so I'm committed to doing my part to earn your contributions.
This year I'm going to try what I'm calling The 5k for 5k.
It's pretty simple. My goal is to run 5km every day in March in an effort to raise $5,000 for Bum Run and colon cancer research and awareness.
