In June of 2025 I was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. After a double mastectomy, six months of chemo, 30 rounds of radiation and a full hernia, I am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel! Pink Hearts Foundation has been my rock throughout my entire cancer journey. From a steady support group to financial burdens, they have been there to help every step of the way. This walk means something very important to the survivors and us who are still in active treatment. There are days that we couldn't even get off the couch, use the restroom on our own, clothes or make our own food. Being able to walk a 5k with your family and friends shows the determination and grit you have and shows the community that you still have fight left in you!!
