When I think about families navigating childhood critical illness, I honestly can’t imagine the emotional weight they carry every single day. Parents are forced into a world of hospital visits, uncertainty, fear, and difficult conversations no family should ever have to face. Children who should be focused on school, friendships, and simply being kids instead spend so much of their time fighting battles far beyond their years.

Reading stories from families supported by Make-A-Wish deeply moved me. It’s impossible not to feel inspired by the strength, resilience, and love these families show through incredibly difficult circumstances. While I may never fully understand what they are going through, I do know that even small acts of kindness and support can make an enormous difference.

That’s why I’m raising funds for Make-A-Wish. This organization creates moments of joy, hope, and connection for children living with critical illnesses and for the families who stand beside them every step of the way. A wish is so much more than a trip, a gift, or an experience, it’s a chance for families to laugh together again, create lasting memories, and find light during some of the darkest moments of their lives.

For many families, these experiences become something they hold onto long after the wish itself is over. They provide comfort, strength, and hope when it’s needed most. Knowing that a child can experience excitement, happiness, and wonder despite everything they are facing is incredibly powerful.

I wanted to be part of helping create those moments.
