Help kids. Fight cancer. Make a difference.
Running has never really been on my radar, so signing up for a 5K is definitely something new and a little outside my comfort zone.
For my birthday this year, I wanted to do something that pushed me a little and felt meaningful. This felt like the right way to celebrate, by taking on a challenge and using it to give back at the same time.
I’m taking part in the PUMA Toronto Women’s Run Series, which raises funds for the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO), supporting children and families living with childhood cancer.
This run isn’t about being the fastest, it’s about showing up, pushing myself, and doing something with purpose. If you’re able to support, whether through a donation or by sharing this, it would truly mean a lot.
Thank you for being part of my running journey!

Description
Hello!
This May, I’m participating in the PUMA Toronto Women’s Spring 10K/5K to raise awareness and critical funds for the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO)—an organization that walks alongside families at every stage of a cancer diagnosis.
A childhood cancer diagnosis is often just the beginning of a long road ahead —one that doesn’t necessarily end when treatment does.
Even when a child is declared cancer-free, the physical, emotional, and everyday challenges can continue long after. That’s why your support makes such a difference.
What your support helps make possible:
- Relief for families – Covering out-of-pocket costs like travel and meals, so parents can focus on their child—not the bills.
- Support for survivors – One-on-one help with school and career planning when cancer or treatment makes learning harder.
- Hope through research – Fueling studies that improve care, survivorship, and quality of life—today and for the future.
Kian's Story

When Jordan’s son Kian was diagnosed with leukemia just before his third birthday, their world changed overnight. Months in hospital, painful complications, and years of treatment followed, but through it all, they knew they had the support of POGO.
That’s the difference your generosity makes.
““Cancer has been a thief in our lives. It stole time, money, and energy from our whole family. It changed who we are, how we parent, and even who remains in our lives.” - Jordan, Mother of Kian.

Support me by making a donation to my page and help ensure families have the support they need, when they need it most.
Every dollar helps children like Kian keep moving forward.
Thank you for supporting POGO!
