RACE QUESTIONS
Q: Is there late registration or race day registration?
A: Yes! Participants are encouraged to take advantage of early registration discounted pricing (from April 1, 2026 - April 30, 2026) and the ability to reserve a race shirt in the size of your choice, by registering early. Online registration will be available until the race starts.
Q: When you say register early to reserve a race shirt in the size of your choice, what does that mean?
A: All runners will receive a shirt. However, to guarantee a shirt in the size of your choice, you must register by July 11, 2026.
Q: Will you offer free race photos again?
A: Of course! You can download as many photos as you want, for FREE! We'll send you a link after the race.
Q: Where and when is packet pick up?
A: Packet Pick Up will be held on Thursday, July 23rd from 12pm - 7pm at the Big Peach Running Store - South Fulton: 5829 Campbellton Road SW, #102, Atlanta, GA 30331. Race day packet pick up is also available but discouraged.
Q: How can I register on race day?
A: Please arrive by 7am in order to get registered on race day. Volunteers will be available to assist you with online registration and bib assignment. Please note that if you register on race day, shirts are first come, first served. We cannot guarantee that a race day t-shirt will be available.
Q: Are you offering a Virtual Run?
A: Yes! See registration details for more information on the Virtual Run!
Q: What time should I arrive on race day?
A: We encourage all participants and spectators to arrive by 7:00 a.m. to allow for adequate time to warm up and get to the starting line without feeling rushed.
Q: Where can I park for the race?
A: Street parking is available outside of Grant Park. Paid parking in the onsite parking deck is also available and is managed by the Magic City of Atlanta. GA. Run F.A.R. 5K is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
Q: Is there a bag check?
A: No. Because parking is right at the event, you can store anything you don't need to carry in your car.
Q: Will there be food?
A: Yes, we provide light snacks and water at no extra cost to you!
Q: Are spectators allowed?
A: We would love to have your family and friends attend to cheer you on at the finish and celebrate with us at the after party.
Q: Is there a rain date?
A: No, the Run F.A.R. 5K event will take place rain or shine! Should severe weather cause a cancellation, runners are encouraged to complete the race virtually. There will be no refunds.
Q: Can I get a refund if I can no longer attend?
A: Registration for fundraising events is non-refundable.
Q: Are there porta-potties on the course?
A: Restrooms will be available near the start/finish line. Only water is available on the course.
Q: Are baby joggers, strollers, or pets allowed on the course?
A: Yes. However, please be respectful of others. Some of our runners are trying to qualify for other races, and want to run at their fastest possible pace. If you plan to run or walk with a stroller, jogger, or a pet, please line up at the back of the starting line lineup. And if you bring a pet, you will be responsible for picking up any pet waste and disposing of it properly.
Q: Are headphones allowed during the race?
A: For safety concerns, we strongly encourage participants to abstain from using headphones during this race.
Q: How will I be timed?
A: Professional chip and gun times will be provided by Orion Sports Timing - Powered by Start2Finish.
Q: Is there a course map?
A: Yes, the course map is shown on the event’s main page.
Q: Is this considered a Peachtree Road Race Qualifier?
A: Yes, it's a USATF certified course!
