My Story

On May 17, 2026, I’ll be participating in the 3rd Annual Race Against Human Trafficking at Sunland Racetrack & Casino. This event isn’t just a race—it’s a mission. Bringing together families, runners, and local organizations, this 5K run and 1-mile walk is focused on raising awareness about human trafficking and standing in support of survivors right here in our region. It’s a powerful reminder that real change happens when a community shows up together. A portion of the proceeds will go to Paso del Norte Center of Hope, an organization doing critical work by providing housing, resources, and life-restoring support for survivors.
