I’m excited to be running Grandma’s Marathon in support of Animal Allies Humane Society in Duluth. I am both a serial animal rescuer and a serial Grandma’s Marathon participant, which makes running for this cause especially meaningful.

Over the years, we’ve welcomed several rescue animals into our home, each one unique and unforgettable. Our current rescue, Karo, came from the Wisconsin Humane Society and is a perfect example of how life-changing a second chance can be. Like all rescues, Karo is truly one of a kind.

Every mile I run is in honor of the animals they serve and the impact compassion can have. Thank you for supporting this cause and helping animals find their way home.
